TRADE: Colts Trade Tyler Tucker and Riley Piercey to Firebirds. #OHL


The Barrie Colts announced a trade with the Flint Firebirds. The deal sees St. Louis Blues prospect Tyler Tucker and Riley Piercey to Flint in exchange for Evan Vierling and two second-round picks in 2023 and 2024.
Tucker is playing in his fourth OHL season with the Colts. Through 217 career games, the defenceman has posted 26 goals and 99 assists. His 125 points are third-most among defenceman in team history. This season, he has eight goals and 21assists in 28 games played.

Piercey is playing in his sophomore season with the Ponies has tripled his goal production from his rookie season with nine goals already. Through 95 games he has totalled 12 goals and 15 assists.


Vierling is a skilled centre who will bring some depth to the Colts offence. Eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft, Vierling has played in 15 games this season posting two goals and eight assists.

We would like to welcome Vierling to the team and wish Tucker and Piercey the best of luck in Flint. Tucker will continue to wear the number two in Flint while Piercey will wear 19.
