Barrie Colts Alumni Kevin Labanc Makes NHL History With San Jose Sharks. (VIDEO) #SJSharks

Last night the San Jose Sharks came back from a three-goal deficit versus the Vegas Golden Knights to force overtime in game seven. The Sharks would go on to win the game in overtime.

While there is some debate on a call that led to the Sharks comeback, some NHL history was made in the process. Barrie Colts alumni forward Kevin Labanc recorded four points in the third period. Three assists and a goal. In the process, he not only helped the Sharks in a big way, but he made NHL history as well. Kevin Labanc is the first player in NHL history to record four points in a period during a game-seven. He also tied the current NHL record for points in a single period in the Playoffs.

Here are the video highlights from his impressive performance.

Congratulations to Labanc and best of luck in Round Two when the Sharks will face the Colorado Avalanche. If you are a Sharks fan, or a Labanc fan be sure to grab this shirt to support him as he looks to win a Stanley Cup.
