Ryan Suzuki Signs Entry-Level Deal with Carolina Hurricanes.

The Carolina Hurricanes announced this morning that they had signed Barrie Colts forward Ryan Suzuki. The deal is a three-year, entry-level contract. Each season, Suzuki could make $832,500 in the NHL and $70,000 in the AHL. Included in the contract is a $277,500 signing bonus.

The Hurricanes drafted Suzuki 28th overall at the 2019 NHL Draft coming off a season which saw the forward post 25 goals and 50 assists.

Suzuki will join former teammate Andrei Svechnikov who was selected by the Hurricanes at the 2018 Draft. Suzuki appears that he will remain with the Canes during the pre-season for now, but expected him to be sent back to the Colts at some point soon.
