Barrie Colts Player of the Week - Tyson Foerster. (Week 2)

We have chosen Tyson Foerster as the Barrie Colts player of the week coming out of week two of the OHL season.

Foerster had an incredible week and ended it on a high note in the Colts 7-3 win over Mississauga on Saturday. Foerster scored a hat-trick and added three assists.

With his six-point week, Foerster now leads the Colts in points with four goals and four assists. With eight points, Foerster is fifth league-wide for points. His +7 rating is also second-highest on the team. Only Nathan Allensen has a higher rating at +8.

The CHL also named him the player of the night for his six-point performance.
Foerster has played a lot with Ryan Suzuki and Luke Bignell which has been an excellent fit for Tyson. He showed late last season that he has chemistry with Suzuki and it is good to see that Warren Rychel and the rest of the coaching staff recognize that as well. Foerster has also been playing on the power-play unit with Jason Willms and Matej Pekar with rookie Brandt Clarke and Ryan Suzuki on the point. If the team keeps him in this position, Foerster will only improve and continue to produce points.

Congratulations to Tyson on an incredible week!
