Ryan Suzuki Injury Has Him Out "Week-To-Week." #OHL

Yesterday, Gene Pereira tweeted that Barrie Colts forward Ryan Suzuki would be out "week-to-week" with an eye injury.
The Carolina Hurricanes prospect left Friday's game midway through the first period when Saginaw defenceman Ilya Solovyov caught him with a high-stick. Suzuki left the game and didn't return.

The team has a huge hole to fill with Suzuki out. While Tyson Foerster and Matej Pekar make up for 46% of the teams' goal production, Suzuki has helped in a big way with 13 assists this season.

While "week-to-week" doesn't give a clear idea as to when Suzuki can be expected to return, you can hope that he might not miss too much game time. Barrie has just one game this week. The following week, they have three, and after that, they have only one game. If Suzuki can return three weeks after the injury, that could be just five games missed, not including the full game he already missed.

One positive to take away is how great the team looked the other night VS Flint without Suzuki dressed. If Barrie can build off of that and play a similar style, there is no reason they can't continue to succeed while Suzuki recovers.
