Tonight the Barrie Colts are back in action for the first game in nine days! Barrie won their last game against Hamilton 3-2 on December 2nd. They were scheduled for a home-and-home series the following two nights, but those games were rescheduled due to COVID.

This is the third meeting of the season between Barrie and North Bay, with each team winning a game each. North Bay won the last meeting 8-3. Barrie had a decent game but could not prevent the troops from scoring on the man advantage. Despite allowing four power-play chances, Barrie only allowed 19 shots on goal. It was a rough game for Sbrocca and Lalama.

Barrie managed to push OT in their last game against Hamilton. The Bulldogs held a 2-0 lead early in the 2nd period. However, Barrie struck back quickly on Ethan Cardwell's fourth goal of the season, and Tai York scored his first career OHL goal to tie the game and force OT.

Beau Jelsma would be the OT hero when he scored his seventh goal to give Barrie the win. Check out the full game highlights below.

North Bay played Thursday night, hosting the Soo Greyhounds. Battalion forward Matvey Petrov scored his 17th of the year in a game dominated by special teams to force OT in the last four minutes of regulation. Brandon Coe would score the game-winner just 1:10 seconds into 3-on-3.

The win was the team's third consecutive and improved record to 8-1-1-0 in their last ten games. Check out the highlights from that game below.

Barrie, like North Bay, comes into this matchup riding a three-game win streak, having won over Hamilton, Sudbury and Niagara. However, the Colts will have to be aware of a couple hot players, with Brandon Coe riding a 14 game point streak (9G:23A) and Matvey Petrov with 11 games (7G:17A).

Puck drop is set for 7:30 tonight at Sadlon Arena, and tickets are still available. So be sure to grab your tickets here and cheer on the team!
