This is the second Barrie Colts the Flames have selected in these playoffs. Earlier today they selected Rasmus Andersson with their 53rd pick overall.
Mangiapane finished the 2014-15 season with 43 goals, 61 assists for a total of 104 points which was 8th most in the OHL for points. Mangiapane was one of 3 Colts to finish the season with more than 100 points this past season.
