Three Colts Alumni in the Stanley Cup Finals. #OHL #NHL

With the Stanley Cup Finals starting tonight between the New York Rangers and the LA Kings we wanted to wish the Colt's alumni the best of luck!

Tanner Pearson, Kyle Clifford (both of the Kings) and Daniel Girardi (of the Rangers) look to bring home the greatest prize in hockey this year and though it will be a tough series one thing that we know for sure is that at least one of these players will be getting a championship ring!

Tanner Pearson joined the Colts in the 2010-11 season where he he posted 42 points (16 G, 27 A). His second year was when he really stood out when he more than doubled his point production posting a massive 91 points in 60 games played (37 G, 54 A). That season, he was also a OHL Second Team All-Star. That was his final season with the team.

Kyle Clifford played 3 seasons with the Colts from the 07-08 season to the 09-10 season. In those 3 years he totaled 45 goals, 55 assists and 327 penalty minutes. In his final season with the team the Colts made it to the OHL Championship where they were swept 4-0 by Windsor. In the playoffs that season, Clifford posted 14 points.

Daniel Girardi was a part of the team for 3 seasons but only played a total of 58 games. That doesn't include the 20 games he played on the team in the playoff run in the 2001-02 season where the Colts made it to the finals, only to be eliminated by Erie in 5 games.

So who are you cheering for? Kings or the Rangers? Either way, you can't help but cheer on former players of the Barrie Colts!
