2017 OHL U-18 Priority Selection: Barrie Colts.


Last night the Ontario Hockey League held its first Under 18 Priority Selection Draft. The draft was 4 rounds with each team selecting one player each round. Teams who selected a goalie in one of those rounds was extended the opportunity to select another skater in a 5th round if they wanted. Barrie had the 1st overall pick, as well as the 1st pick in the following rounds. Barrie picked a goaltender in the 2nd round, allowing them to select a player in the 5th round. Here is a look at the Colts selections.

4th Round: (61st overall) Massimo Petricca.
Team: Mississauga Rebels Major Midget AAA

5th Round: (81st overall) Jacob Breckles.
